What we collect, and why
- The waitlist. Your email and the answers you give on the early-access form, so we can decide who to invite and tell you when your place opens. The detail is in the waitlist notice.
- Your account. Your name and email from the sign-in you chose (Google, GitHub or an email link), and the team you belong to.
- What you ask us to watch. The addresses, the settings of each monitor, and any keys you give it. Keys are encrypted and never shown again.
- Check results. Timings, status codes and a short sample of each response with personal data removed. Samples are kept for 7 days and the numbers for 13 months.
- Abuse signals. A salted hash of your IP address. We do not store the address itself.
- Page views. Which pages of this site are opened, where the visit came from, and the browser’s user-agent, counted with no cookie. Each visitor is a salted hash that changes every day, so we cannot follow anyone from one day to the next. Our server passes these counts to our analytics provider; your IP address is not passed on. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted.
What this site does not do
- This site loads one script from another company: Google Analytics, to count visits. Google may set its analytics cookie, except for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, where the cookie is switched off and visits are counted without it. Advertising uses are switched off everywhere.
- If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
- This site sets no advertising cookies and loads no third-party fonts.
- We do not sell personal data.
Who helps us run it
We use other companies to host the service, store data, send email and run the AI judge. The full list will be published here before launch.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@openping.ai. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Changes
When this page changes in a way that matters, we will say so here before it takes effect.
