The service
OpenPing checks, from outside, that the things you point it at are up and answering right, and tells you when they are not. During early access it is offered as it is, free of charge, and may change.
What you agree to
- Only watch things you own or have permission to check.
- Do not use OpenPing to load-test, scan or attack anyone’s systems.
- Use test accounts for agent tests and MCP test calls, never a real customer’s.
- Keep your API keys to yourself, and tell us if one leaks.
What we may do
- Slow down, pause or remove checks that harm the site being checked or the service.
- Stop checks against a site whose owner asks us to. See our checker.
Alerts are a help, not a guarantee
We work hard to make every alert arrive and to make none of them false. Even so, do not let OpenPing be the only thing between a failure and a person where a missed alert could cause harm.
